My fine art photography, as distinguished from casual photography, is an attempt to explore and articulate the soul of the photographic subject. It is not just a snapshot of things as I find them, but it is an interpretation of their spirit, their mood, and their relationships. It is my attempt to create art as it appeared to me when I was there.

I am just now getting around to posting these two photos from Jenny's photo-shoot. I really love these new ones.
Kate did a great job on her photo-shoot!! We went for a 70's theme and she pulled it off great. It was a little on the warm side but what a fun time we had getting some awesome shots. Thanks to Judy and Jenny for all their help. Just a few shots below of many. Click on this link to see the her full gallery http://bcraft.zenfolio.com/p1069150718#h39727437
I had a great time on my vacation trip to Daytona Beach, Florida. I managed to get up early and head to Ponce Inlet to photograph the old lighthouse. This photograph was made at around 5:30am. I am really happy with the way this pre- sunrise photo turned out.
What a great time we had in Ponce Inlet Florida!! The weather was fantastic. We left home in 100 degree heat and went to Florida to cool off in 90 degree heat, imagine that. Most of the photographs below were made either before sunrise at dark or at sunrise. The shot of Ponce inlet Lighthouse was made at 5:30 am. It was a lot of getting up early and a lot of walking but well worth it.
These photographs are just a few we made on an island in the middle of Lake Hartwell in Hartwell, Georgia. It was a lot of fun, Rachel did an amazing job and I think the photos are awesome..Thanks to Judy and Jenny for all their help.
